1. Data we collect
- Account details — your email address, company name and authentication data.
- Stripe connected account metadata — your connected account identifier, environment (test/live) and invoice events such as failed payments. We never receive or store full card numbers.
- Your customers' contact information — names, email addresses and phone numbers, processed solely to deliver recovery communications on your behalf.
- Usage data — recovery link clicks, message delivery status and aggregated dashboard statistics.
2. How we use data
We use data exclusively to process failed payment workflows, generate secure payment update links, deliver notifications by email, SMS and WhatsApp, and report recovery performance in your dashboard. We do not use customer data for advertising or profiling.
3. Data sharing and subprocessors
We do not sell or monetize user or customer data. Data is shared strictly with the infrastructure subprocessors required to run the service:
- Stripe — payment processing, OAuth account connection and billing
- Twilio — SMS and WhatsApp message delivery
- Supabase — database storage and authentication
- Resend / SendGrid — transactional email delivery
4. Data retention and security
Data is retained for as long as your account is active and for a limited period afterwards to meet legal and accounting obligations. Credentials are stored encrypted, access is restricted, and all traffic is encrypted in transit over TLS.
5. Your data rights (GDPR)
Users and their customers have the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of their personal data (the "right to be forgotten"), as well as data portability and the right to object to or restrict processing. To exercise any of these rights, contact privacy@dunningjet.com and we will respond within 30 days.
Where you use DunningJet to message your own customers, you act as the data controller and DunningJet acts as a data processor on your instructions.
